Grading & Seminar News

The next Northern area Master grading / seminar will be held on Sunday the 18th February 2007 at Holy Cross college.

A reminder to all Colour Belt grades in order to grade the UKTA grading rules state a minimum of two Master Seminars is required per year.

Those of you that are eligible to grade or wish to do the seminar please see Mr WP.Rose V Degree to register your intension to grade.

1st Kups and BlackBelts the next Blackbelt grading by Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha will be held in Glasgow Scotland from the 2nd -4th March 2007.

Those of you who have not as of yet completed the relevant paperwork please see Mr W P.Rose V Degree as the closing date is the 19th of February.


40th Anniversary of the UKTA

This year is the 40th Anniversary of the UKTA but there is a double celebration the 10th Anniversary of our Presidents promotion to Grand Master status.

There will be news of what events are going to be organised to celebrate these unique occasions on the UKTA website.

As soon as details are available they will be posted on this site.

Welsh Open Championships (Cardiff) Saturday 2nd June

English Open Championships (Crawley) Saturday 29th September

UK Open Championships (Cardiff) Sunday 25th November


UKTA Umpire Course

The first Umpire course for 2007 will be held in Didcot on Sunday the 21st of January.

The course will be run by Master G. Miller VII Degree chief Umpire of the ITF & UKTA.

The course is very comprehensive covering all the current rules and regulations.

Holiday Closure

The last training session of 2006 will be Thursday the 21st of December the School will re-open on Tuesday the 9th of January 2007.

Instructors & Blackbelts wish all students a Merry Chrismas & a Happy New Year!!

Keep up the Good Work for 2007 and who knows you could be the next National, European or World Champion!!!
